A network of amazing biodiversity
Cape Town's biodiversity is unique and irreplaceable. Many of the plants and animals we have here exist nowhere else in the world. To ensure that this precious resource is maintained for the enjoyment and benefit of future generations, the City manages more than 30 nature reserves and natural areas that offer the public a range of services and facilities.
