As practising attorneys, the Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa environmental law department will give constructive advice and assistance on environmental protection issues, including the law and the legislation, due diligence investigations, drafting and reviewing contracts, environmental and regulatory requirements, policy, liabilities, certification, conservation, eco-tourism, environmental management and planning, liaison with government bodies and marine, water, air and waste management issues, mining-related environmental issues, CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) and carbon credits structuring under the Kyoto Protocol, renewable energy projects and representation in environmental legal proceedings.
