LOCATION: HERITAGE HOUSE
TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE P/A: R 379,968.00 AT PEROMNES JOB GRADE 08.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Plan and conduct efficient and effective counter poaching operations.
• Contribution to the overall crime information and intelligence picture of NWPB.
• Collection of crime intelligence information
• Participate in undercover investigative operations.
• Effective management of an information.
• Liaison as designated by the Senior Resource Security Manager on investigative matters.
• Maintenance of accurate, confidential, intimate and sensitive knowledge of potentially
• dangerous and libelous information only to be revealed to supervisor.
• Adhere to investigative and administrative deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Bachelors of Science degree in a related field (e.g. Insurance Studies, Criminal Justice, Risk Management).
• Crime Intelligence Course, Organised Crime Course
• Proven experience conducting complex private sector and/or law enforcement investigations, including extensive interviewing experience, is required.
• Ability to quickly and correctly identify key investigative issues, combined with the ability to develop and efficiently execute a comprehensive investigation plan, is essential.
• At least 5 years of investigative experience in criminal investigation, corporate, law enforcement, military, or government investigations.
• Experience in ethics and compliance investigations is preferred.
• Appointed as peace officer
• Appointed as Environmental Management Investigator level 2.
