Biodiversity Manager – Gamsberg Project - 7 November 2016
– Gamsberg Project (mining / projects /open-pit / zinc) – Northern Cape.
The Biodiversity Manager will develop and implement a biodiversity monitoring programme to establish how ecosystems, communities and species could be affected by the project and development of the Gamsberg mine, and how best the developments can be designed, located and managed to avoid negative impacts / results to Biodiversity.
The key focus will be to contribute to the overall success and compliance of the project, and ultimately of the operation, taking into consideration that development must be socially, environmentally and economically sustainable.
