Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12

The candidate will manage a small labour force, and be responsible primarily for veld management, with an emphasis on clearing of invasive vegetation, predominantly Silver Cluster Leaf and Sickle Bush trees.

The candidate will also be required to take on other responsibilities related to the management of a Reserve, and will include the maintenance and management of the reserve infrastructure such as roads, fencing, general building, plumbing, solar power and electrics.

They must have hands–on, practical experience in the management of bush mechanics, and preferably would have experience in the operation, cleaning and minor maintenance of chain saws, brush cutters and bush clearing saws.

Must have an unendorsed drivers licence The ability to drive a tractor would be advantageous.

Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans, (Setswana, Pedi, N Sotho would be an advantage). Must be fit, strong, willing and able to carry out physical work themselves, should be self-motivated, resourceful, passionate about wildlife and able to live simply in a remote rural area.

Good contactable references and a clear criminal record are essential.

Salary: Neg plus accommodation
